What it does

One tool for day-to-day Proxmox operations

Proxmox servers

Saved connections, server groups, SSH/Pageant, pvesh, task history, storage, ISO images, and quick Proxmox Web access.

VM lifecycle

Start, shutdown, stop, reboot, reset, pause, resume, delete, hardware editing, CPU, RAM, disks, network, and CD/DVD.

Backup and restore

Create vzdump backups, restore with overwrite confirmation, stop active tasks, and manage native Proxmox schedules.

Windows VM agent

DevOpsTasks: PowerShell, desktop-session commands, file transfer, system information, screenshots, RDP/VNC/SSH access.

Monitoring

Server, VM, storage, and ZFS state, CSV history, incidents, webhooks, warning and critical thresholds.

Background service

ServerAdminJobService keeps Web and background jobs available after Desktop closes, using Pageant from the user session.

Quick start

Extract the complete directory and start ServerAdmin.exe

  1. Download ServerAdmin.zip.
  2. Extract the whole directory; do not move only the EXE file.
  3. Start Pageant with your SSH key, then open ServerAdmin.exe.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
  • Network access to Proxmox
  • Pageant with an SSH key or an SSH password
  • QEMU Guest Agent for automatic agent installation in Windows VMs

Bulk operations

One action for the servers and VMs you select

Select multiple Proxmox servers and run an SSH command, shutdown, or reboot. You can also start, shut down, stop, or reboot every VM on the selected servers. Progress and the result of each operation remain visible separately.
